Marie-Luce Paris is Professor of Law at UCD Sutherland School of Law, University College Dublin (Ireland). Her main research interests are in comparative constitutional law and European human rights law. Her current projects explore issues of democratic governance through two strands, one on processes of deliberative democracy and the other on the relationship between political power and the military in a democratic society. She has published extensively on human rights issues and in the field of judicial review. Her latest book Constitutional Law in France (2nd ed., 2024) was published by Wolters Kluwer.
