Full professor of Comparative Public Law at the Ionic Department, University of Bari (Italy).
Member of the “Associazione di Diritto Pubblico Comparato ed Europeo”.
Member of Devolution Club, cultural association.
Pamela Martino has taken part in several national and international research projects on: Devolution and the territorial government, Second Chambers, Local democracy and self-government institutions in Europe, Constitutional justice, Intercultural rights, European separatism.
Her research interests are : local option in UK, second chambers and political representation, decentralization of constitutional powers and local government systems, constitutional justice, judicial cross-fertilization, citizenship and migration, Constitutions and State security.
She has taken part in national and international seminars and conferences. She has written extensively on comparative public law.
