Olivier Lemieux

Université du Québec à Rimouski

Olivier Lemieux holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in Applied Political Studies from the Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a PhD in Education Administration and Policies from Université Laval. His research interests primarily lie in the fields of education administration and policies, as well as the history of education in Quebec.


His work has been notably recognized with the Médaille de l’Assemblée nationale du Québec for his Master's thesis, the Cathy James Memorial Prize from the Canadian History of Education Association for his doctoral dissertation, and the Louise-Dandurand Publication Prize from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture for his book titled "Genèse et legs des controverses liées aux programmes d’histoire du Québec (1961-2013)" published by Presses de l'Université Laval.
